So very sad to read this in the Nastawgan.  A wonderful canoeing and camping person whom I will remember on my trips.  Know that wherever she is, she will be loved dearly forever.

Thank you for allowing me to share your mother for the last 34 years. We did have some amazing trips starting off car camping, the trip to Expo '86 through the Rockies on motorcycles, Florida, Rockies again with Dianne, Peru and lots of canoe camping trips that I will forever cherish.

I met Elizabeth when her and Fred came for a visit, near Wakefield, Quebec several years ago.  They brought their 3 dogs with them and it was apparent this was their family, whom they truly loved.  Elizabeth struggled with her illness, but kept her spirits up and enjoyed her holiday with her family.  I feel truly blessed to have met her.  My sincerest condolences goes out to the family and to everyone who knew Elizabeth.

Deeply saddened by the loss of darling Elizabeth.  She had a zest for life and had a way of touching all that knew her.  Wherever she is, she will remain in our hearts forever.

We knew Elizabeth since 1986 when she and Fred visited Vancouver for Expo 86, arriving in a heat wave on motorcycles.  The last time we were able to see each other was in 2004 when Ashley, Alan and I travelled to Ontario.  So sorry to hear of your loss, Fred.
