Sending such love to the Vanderharst family.  Diana was a beautiful person. I can’t believe she’s gone. I’ve known her and her family since early childhood when I became friends with her eldest son, Jimmy. She  loved her children fiercely.  She felt like a friend to me even as a child. We all spent countless nights at the Sheffield ballpark. I still do, now that my sons play. While there, I’m flooded with memories of being there with Diana and the Vanderharst family.  In adulthood, we’d connect at any event we were at together. Quickly chatting as old friends as if no time had past since the last time we’d seen each other. We would have heart to heart conversations regularly. She was real. No small talk, straight to real emotions and relationship dynamics. I loved that. I loved her. She will be sorely missed.  Love to all who will miss her.

Thank you is not enough to express our gratitude to the beautiful soul we called "Diaze" or my kids called "Momma D" 
We have so many amazing memories that make us either belly laugh or cry thinking about, we hold them all so dear to our hearts! We love you so much and will miss you greatly!! 😘😘

A beautiful, strong woman. A Momma D laugh was simply the best sound ever!! She loved so fiercely and is an inspiration for how strong a woman can be. I am grateful for every year I spent knowing her. Our trip to Atlantic City is one of my favourite memories of Momma D! From sunburnt bums to getting lost, to shopping downtown, to: “Ranch….all the kids are doing it!” We made some great memories.

Diana's memory and beautiful smile will live in  our hearts forever.  We will always remember her dedication to the Bottrill dance kids and the many hours of volunteer work she selflessly gave to them. May she rest in peace. 💔😪 the Hancocks family😘

We are so sad to here of Diana passing she and her family have had a very difficult time the last years, we were lucky to had the opportunity to have many visits fun times and many jokes ,coffee and just good fun times for many years all Great Memories. Oh she was the best. Nobody appreciated my evil streak like she did and I will always love her for it. Who’s gonna fire me now!? Her laugh was gleefully mischievous and so infectious. I’ll miss her always and appreciate all she did for my daughter in the years we were lucky enough to know her. I want to be Momma D when I grow up.

Deepest sympathies to my VanderHarst family. A loss much too soon, but a lifetimes worth of love and memories. A favourite memory of mine, (and a very impressionable one too) was Aunt Diana driving us in the old vander-van through the orchard at Nan and Pops as a short cut to the road. Too many tractors in the laneway, or just typically packed with family cars maybe..either way, there were places to be. Aunt Diana was a great one to get you to where you needed to be, regardless of the obstacles.  Whether it be a destination, with your family, a timeline or just a no nonsense answer you didn’t realize you were looking for.  You could depend on her at any time. She will be greatly missed.
