She was predeceased by her husband Bill Roelofson (1990), parents, brother Bill, sister Myrna and in-laws. She is survived by her sons Randy Roelofson of Las Vegas, Doug Roelofson of Cambridge and daughter Sandy (Bill) Belovari of Muskoka. She is also survived by granddaughters Lindsay Belovari and Jessica (Josh) Tedford and great-grandsons Emerson and Hudson Tedford of Cambridge, as well as brother in law Don Fox and many nieces and nephews.
Betty lived an amazing and full life. She loved her family, her beloved Muskoka and volunteering. She spent her early years running their summer resort Wigwam Lodge on Kahshe Lake and in later years enjoyed traveling. They spent several years residing in Arizona then returned to Cambridge in 1985. Following her return, she was an active member of the Silver Star Society, Meals on Wheels, Pater and Knox Presbyterian Church. Betty loved playing bridge and was a member of several clubs. Her positive outlook and infectious personality will be missed by all that knew her.
