Robin, Steve, Amanda, Eric and all of Ben's family and friends ... there are no words that could ease the pain and agony in your hearts, or allow you to make sense of any of this right now, but know you are all in so many of our hearts, thoughts and prayers. The loss of Ben has had a tremendous effect on Brendan's and my life. He was always welcomed in our home and considered part of our extended family. A huge loss to not only to our home town Cambridge but to the world as well. I have known Ben for many years thoughout high school and it is such a shock to me that I was speaking with him one day and he is gone the next. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Ben. I went to school with Eric at RLA and I remember him telling me that he little bro was going to play for the Fronts. I went and saw him play a couple of times, wearing that number 7. I'm sorry to hear about this tragedy.

My most sincere condolances to Ben's family and friends.  While I did not know Ben well, he was well liked and respected by his fellow students and faculty in the Police Foundations program.. He had a promising career.  He will be missed. The Conestoga flag is flying at half mast.

To all of Ben's family and friends, I am sorry to learn the loss of this great person.  I knew Ben from the local YMCA where I would see him going 110% all the time.  He always had a great attitude and was always making amazing friends.  He was one tuff kid and awe inspiring of what he would do.  I would like to think of Ben as not resting in peace, because I don't think someone like him is the kind that rests.  I believe he is going harder and stronger  in peace.  He has some amazing family and friends, something that is a hard trait to find, he had all this at such a young age.  I think that his memory will live on in their hearts and he will be looking over them fondly.   What had in this short life is something that many people would be jealous of, he had all of you!   Ben may not be here physically but he lives on in each of you!!  Nothing is ever lost its only transformed!  Keep on living Ben!
