Peacefully passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 20, 2015 after a brief illness in his 97th year.
Beloved husband to Margaret of 66 wonderful years together.
Dear father to Lorna and John (Nan).
Proud Grandpa to Kristen (Tom) and Jordan (Tara) and cherished Great-Grandpa to Oscar Andrew.
Andrew will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his extended family and friends especially dear neighbours and friends Marilyn and Jeff.
Andrew was a long time member of Wesley United Church and enjoyed participating in Lunch bunch. In his down time he enjoyed playing cards with friends and following his favourite sports teams. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and New York Rangers fan. On top of following his teams, he also coached minor league hockey and minor league baseball.
In keeping with Andrew’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will follow at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Andrew’s memory and would be greatly appreciated.
