Rosa was a master seamstress who immigrated to Canada in 1969. She loved to garden, cultivated orchids, was an excellent cook and sang in the choir. She delighted friends and strangers alike with her generosity, joy and light.
Rosa is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Peter Wang and their children and their spouses; Theresa (David), John and Wanda (Aaron).
The Family wishes to extend special thanks to Foothills Medical Centre: Unit 61 and Unit 47, Tom Baker Cancer Centre, AHS Home Care, AHS Palliative Care Team, and all the staff at Southwood Hospice.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm., with visitation held one hour prior to service. A private family committal will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on Rosa's behalf directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca, or charity of your choice.
