Patricia was born in Clive, Alberta and spent her early years on the farm. Her father passed away when Patricia was 10 years old and the family moved to Calgary. She graduated from Western Canada High School, attended Business College and started her career. She met the love of her life, Archie and they spent the next 60 years together, traveling, laughing and raising their family. She spent many years with the Calgary Board of Education and retired in 1992.
She will be sadly missed by daughters Maureen (Dale) Blaschuk and Sandra (Mike) Festa; six grandchildren, Damien (Dali) Festa, Chris (Matt) Blaschuk, Matt (Katherine) Blaschuk, Shannon Blaschuk (Chris), Lucas Festa and Jessica Festa; great grandchildren Abigail and Charlotte Blaschuk and Marcus and Mila Festa, sister-in-laws Rochelle Evans and Irene MacDonald, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her parents David and Matilda Mack, sister Kay O’Neill, and by her loving husband, Archie Joseph in 2013.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to thank the staff at Brentwood Care Centre for all their support over the last 3 years.
