With great sadness we announce that Mary Adams, Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away suddenly at Foothills Hospital on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 90 years.
Mary will be truly missed by her son Keith (Joan) and daughters Heather and Jane (Chad), much loved Grandsons Wade (Tawni), Brad (Shannon), Kyle and Scott, Granddaughter Lynne Douglas (Don) and precious Great Grandsons Alexander, Jackson, Chase, Riley and Tyson. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Eileen (Terry) Befus and Jean Vernon, her brothers Leonard (Janet) and Edward Fox, sister-in-law Iris Fox as well as her special friend, Ernst Korner. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Edward of 57 years in 2004.
For more than 30 years Mary and Ed farmed in Forestburg and Crossfield. They retired to Calgary in 1974 then spent 20 winters in Mesa, Arizona before moving to The Sierras of Country Hills where her loss will be deeply felt.
A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 - 4 Street NW, Calgary Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
