Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Louise and his son Don; grandsons, Tyler and Samuel, brother, Ron (Betty), sisters, Bea (Geoff) and Mary (Edwin) and many special nieces, nephews and great friends. Lloyd was predeceased by his brother Art and sister-in-law Flo.
Lloyd worked most of his life in the construction industry. He was a respected and trusted crane operator throughout Alberta and BC.
A Funeral Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed in Lloyd’s name to the Alberta Children’s Hospital (2888 Shaganappi Trail NW, Calgary, AB T3B 6A8) or the Calgary Humane Society (4455 – 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2T7).
