Karen passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Albert on May 4, 2011 at the age of 57 years. Karen was born in St.Bonifice, Manitoba to David and Rhita and she resided in Calgary for over forty years. Karen is lovingly remembered by her Partner Chris Morquardt; her children Jason (Jennifer) and Misty (Kevin); and her grandchildren Jordan, Jaime, Jack, Caleb and Joshua. She is also survived by her father David; her siblings Darlene, Linda, John, Paul, and many nieces and nephews. Karen was predeceased by her mother Rhita.
