On May 22, 2017 at the age of 84 years, John Felix Early (Jack) passed peacefully in his sleep with his son at his side in the compassionate care of the staff of Mayfair Care Centre. He is lovingly remembered by his son David Early; as well as his sister Colleen Fluitsma, and brother Barry Early. He was predeceased by his brother Frank Early.
John was born in New Zealand and came to Canada to pursue a career as a teacher. Education was immensely important to John and he led a long and full career as an extremely dedicated teacher and principal. He believed every student was important and unique, and wanted to ensure that they had a warm and caring environment to nurture their growth.
A Celebration of Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
