The children of Isobel Kaiser sadly announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful, smart, witty and fun-loving mom at the age of 84 years. Our mom lived a big life full of wonderful friends and family, and loved nothing more than to spend time with them all, sharing many laughs. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Earl (Posty), and sisters Marion and Jean. She is survived by her children Bill, Sheila ("Poor" Kelly), and Ron; her cherished granddaughter Neelam, and Neelam's mother Neerja. In addition, mom will be sorely missed by her sister Chris, with whom she was especially close and who meant so much to her. She is also survived by her brothers Jack and Bill. Mom was grateful to have been embraced by the extended Kaiser clan upon marrying our dad in her early life; she laughed with, valued and loved them all fiercely. She missed those who predeceased her (Mel, Doug and Doreen, Rod and Doreen, Norman, Gerald and mom’s niece Laurie); and is survived by Joan, Donna, Ken and Marg, Terry and Dave and many nieces and nephews from both sides of our family. Mom couldn't imagine her life without them all. In keeping with mom's wishes, there will be no funeral. Mom did not want "a fuss", but her disobedient children will make one anyway, and hold a Celebration of Life for mom at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. As always, we expect mom to be the life of the party. The family would like to thank the incredible team at Agape Hospice for the kindness and exceptional care they provided mom and us. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to The Lung Association, (ab.lung.ca) P.O. Box 4500, Station South, Edmonton, AB T6E 6K2 or The Agape Hospice (agapehospice.ca) 1302 - 8th Ave N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1B8. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
