Hysis May Green passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on August 14, 2018 at the age of 93 years. May is survived by her loving sons Stanford Clarke, Anthony Clarke, Barrington Clarke and Lauriston Holness. May is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
May was born on September 14, 1924 in Kitson Town, Jamaica. She lived and worked as a nurse's aide at Spanish Town infirmary for 40 years before retiring and migrating to Canada in 1984. May was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family, friends, and her members at St. George’s Anglican Church.
A Visitation will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Bryan Beveridge of St. George’s Anglican Church.
