Helena Joanne Clark

Helena Joanne Clark nee Stroszka "Grams" was born on June 25th, 1947, in Germany. Our precious Mother left this world to return to heaven to be with her dearly beloved daughter, Shannon, on September 25th, 2024.

She grew up in the New Toronto area. Her journey continued out west where she raised four beautiful daughters and gifted the world with eight amazing grandkids. Helena raised her family while working more than 25 years at RBC, where she was known as the "Mortgage Goddess". Her favorite place to visit was the Pigeon farm. Her Polish spirit always reflected her wardrobe. She was a pillar of strength and devotion to her grandchildren, touching each of their lives, by parting endless knowledge and wisdom, even across the ocean. Her love and care knew no bounds. She always remembered her munchkins’ birthdays.

As a result of the sacrifices she made in her 77 years, she created and supported generations of good, strong willed children. Heather (grandchildren Haylee and Autumn) from Calgary, Erin (grandchildren Leyton, Dallon and Aubree) from Kamloops, as well as Casey and her husband Andreas whom Helena fondly called "my" Andi (grandchildren Tyler-Paul, Jonas and Lukas) from Switzerland.

At her personal request, there will be no service.

May her legacy live on forever in our hearts. Let us raise our wine glasses to the woman who gave it her all with the cards she was dealt, ending on a winning hand, surrounded by loved ones, in perfect peace.
