Gladys passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB. Gladys was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. When her husband lost his eyesight, Gladys devoted her life to supporting him in his career and enjoyment of life. Together they enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world, but Hawaii always held a special place in their hearts. She also maintained a successful retail career with Woodward’s Department Store for twenty years. After her husband’s passing, Gladys’ most cherished moments were spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gladys is survived by her children Blair (Marianne) and Debbie (Larry), as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister Elsie Sinden of Oyen, AB. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Allan and son Grant (Margot). She is also predeceased by her two sisters and three brothers. At Gladys’ request a private service was held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 1400 - 522 University Ave Toronto, ON M5G 2R5.
