It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dawn Vida Langlois, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Dawn passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Dulcina Hospice in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 54 years.
Dawn was born on October 25, 1969, in Gaspé, Quebec, to Blaney and Claire (nee Clark) Langlois. She is survived by her father Blaney (Judith) and her brother Darren (Julie), and was a cherished aunt to Devon, Emma, and Connor. Dawn was predeceased by her mother and also her sister, Alice.
She graduated from Gaspé Polyvalent School in 1987 and in 1989, she made a significant move across Canada to Calgary, Alberta, where she built a life surrounded by friends and family who followed her over the years.
Dawn dedicated over 30 years of her life to Amandine Bakery in Calgary, where her colleagues became her extended family.
She embraced life fully through simple pleasures: enjoying heartfelt conversations with loved ones, taking memorable vacations, and indulging her passion for baking, which she joyfully shared with everyone. She delighted in creating special moments for her niece and nephews, Emma, Connor, and Jonathan.
Family and friends held a special place in Dawn's heart.
Rest in Peace, Dawn. You will be dearly missed until we meet again.
