My sincere sympathy to you and your family.  I remember as a child being in your home often and Dave was always kind and gentle.  I remember eating dinner at your home and Dave taking out the family Bible and sharing scripture and stories with us.  He left a profound example for good !!

My deepest sympathy is with all of you as you mourn the loss of your beloved husband and father.  I have many cherished memories growing up of the gentle giant who had a profound impact as a godly role model on my life.  The picnics, hiking, and camping; the Christmas celebrations and my first international trip to Hawaii.  Indeed, Uncle Dave was a father role model to us Uptigroves. Thank you for sharing him with us all those years.  I know you will all miss him very deeply.

We have many fond memories with Dave camping and at Mara lake. He was a wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers are with

It has been a long time since the playful time we had at Mara Lake.  David was a rock in helping us out at the lake- His gentleness, and loving nature will always be remembered.  all my prayers to the family.
