Died at home unexpectedly in Old Station, CA. Born and raised in Alameda, CA. He retired from the Oakland Fire Department in 1993 and moved to Old Station, CA where he & his wife built their own home and became Pacific Crest Trail Angels. Dennis leaves behind his wife; Georgianna, his children; Sandra, Daniel, Charlotte, Maryanne, Jennifer and Nicole, his grandchildren; Stephanie, Michael, Derek, Matthew, Jacob, Alison and Marshall, his sister Cindy and his brother John.
