Linda Sue Tippie Wills was sent home to be with Jesus, on Saturday December 21, 2024. Sue was born on January 2, 1949 and was a lifelong resident of Burnet. She had a passion for baking and spent her career at Sonny’s Minimax and Super S, running the bakery. Before her retirement from the kitchen, she helped open up her namesake, Aunt Sue’s Little Bakery, in Burnet, in the late 1990’s.
Sue was the hug you needed and the smile that could light up your darkest day. Known as Sue, Granny Sue, Aunt Sue and Sister Sue, to so many people, even beyond her family. Firmly rooted in Christ, a devoted church member and prayer warrior, Sue was always ready to help and pray for those in need. Sue would gladly give you what you needed if she could, even if it meant a sacrifice on her end and you would never know it. Soft spoken, sincere and selfless, are a few of the many wonderful attributes you’d find in her. In the bakery, she’d show you how to bake, in Church she’d show you how to follow Jesus, in her family she would show you how to love unconditionally and in her life she had a profound positive impact on those around her, no matter what she was going through. Sue had a sneaky quick wit, with an uplifting smile, willing to share a humorous reply in just about any situation.
Sue was preceded in death by her father, LB Tippie and mother, Loys Hunziker Tippie.
Sue is survived by her three children, Linda Monks (Jeff,) Lisa Sultemeier (David) and Brandon Wills (Joanna).
Grandchildren, Jonathan Sultemeier (Cassi,) Joseph Sultemeier, Rachel Sultemeier, Trevon Monks (Alyssa,) Heather Monks, Cera Wills, Brayden Wills, Brooklyn Brune, and Kaeden Wills.
Great-Grandchildren, Xander, Rhylan, Ember, Kennedy, Kenneth, Copeland and Aspen. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Tippie Atkison (Larry) and her brother Darrel Tippie, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
