Karen, or, KG, as many knew her was born and raised in Burnet, Texas by Kenneth (Red) and Lila A. Lewis. She spent her twenties in Bryan, College Station raising her babies and living life to the fullest before returning home to Burnet. Karen had a fiery spirit and a heart to help others. She refused to let anyone do without or go through hardship without a helping hand. Karen was a beautiful example of love, loyalty, and dependability.
Karen is preceded in death by Father Kenneth (Red) Lewis, Grandparents Mutt and Hazel Atkison and many loved aunts and uncles. Her beloved fur babies also awaited her at Heaven’s gates: Baby, Axy, and Cali.
Karen is survived by husband, Jeffrey Bean of Burnet and children Aubrey and wife Amy of Bertram, Heather Hart Floyd of Killeen, Magen and husband James Beuershausen of Burnet, Stormie and husband Andrew Barthelemy of Burnet, and Mason Bean and fiance of Burnet. She is also survived by Mother Lila Lewis of Burnet, and siblings Bubba Lewis and Peggy Clay and grandchildren: Castor Hart, Kooper Hart, Jacob Bishop, Kaiden and Keenan Teague, Birdie Beuershausen, Brezlyn and Behr Barthelemy, and numerous aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews.
