Henry M Hernandez

It is with great sorrow and sadness that Henry Mike Hernandez of Burnet, Texas passed away on December 11, 2024. He was born on July 5, 1931 in San Antonio, TX to Antonia Ribera Hernandez and Maleno Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Henry Jr., his four brothers, Emmett, Eugene, Dale and Salvador and one sister, Elena Hernandez.

Having served honorable during the Korean War and later worked for many years with two brother at the Texas Granite Company.

Henry had a love for fishing, camping, raising chickens and roosters with his brothers. He also enjoyed hanging out and spending time with family and friends.

Henry, a man of few words, happy go lucky person, always had a great story or funny joke to put a smile on your face. Henry will be sorely missed but remembered always.

Henry is survived by his wife, Janie Hernandez, one daughter, Veronica and George Ortiz, two sons, Albert and Louis and Sylvia Hernandez, eight children and step children, 20 grand and step grandchildren, 32 great grand and step grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet for Henry on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 7:00 PM with a memorial service to at a later date.
