Barbara Powers

Barbara Powers age 72, passed away on February 3, 2013. She was born on August 15, 1940 in the daughter of Jesse and Katherine Hobbs. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years Tommy Powers. Barbara was a Baptist in her faith.

She is survived by her five children. Debra Perkins, Debbie Sierra and husband Kenny Sierra, Cynthia Gentry and husband Alfred gentry, Wesley Perkins and wife Deana Perkins and Tommy Perkins and wife Dorthy Perkins. She had thirteen grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She had three brothers Vernie Hobbs, Jerry Hobbs, and Ronnie Hobbs of Andrews, Texas. She has four sisters Toni Pando and Kathy Terveno of Andrews, Texas. Donna Sue Hobbs of Odessa, Texas , and Frances Gail Holley of Bridgeport, Texas. Two preceded her in death Dolly York and Mary Henderson of Andrews, Texas.

Visitation will be at the McNett Funeral Home in Andrews, Texas on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Andrews West Cemetery in Andrews, Texas.
