Mrs. Yung Yin Kwok

With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Yung Yin Kwok 郭 練楊燕announces her passing on August 10th, 2020. She is survived by her mother, Lien Qiu Yan 陳秋顏; her three sons: David, his wife and two children; Allen and his wife; and Kennett. She has three siblings, nine nieces and nephews, and six grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ting Oi Kwok, and her father, Lien Chin Hung 練金雄.

Yung Yin was born in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, China, on December 3rd. 1953, in a small farming village. For many years, she raised poultry, produced vegetables, and eventually became a nurse in her early 20s.

In 1976, she met her late husband, Ting Oi Kwok, and was married soon after. Their first son, David, was born in 1978 and they immigrated to Canada in 1979. Allen was born in 1982, and Kennett was born in 1987. She worked as a seamstress and with great sacrifice and hard work, she purchased their first home in 1983.

People often recognised and gravitated toward Yung Yin for her soothing kindness and beautiful smile. She would often cook big meals for family gatherings, tend to her garden, attend Church, dance, and spend time with her mom and friends during her spare time.

When you visited her home, you wouldn't leave empty-handed. Sharing the bounty from her vegetable garden, figs from her fig tree, and the flowers that she grew brought her so much joy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

Yung Yin Kwok will forever be in our hearts and memories. We miss her dearly. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date after COVID.

郭練楊燕的家人滿懷悲傷和沈痛，宣布她於2020年8月10日與世長辭。她還有母親陳秋顏及三個兒子：大衛 (David)，他的妻子和兩個孩子；亞倫 (Allen) 和他的妻子；和肯尼特 (Kennett)。她有3個兄弟姐妹，9個侄女和侄子以及6個大侄女和侄子。她的丈夫郭廷藹（Ting Oi Kwok）和父親練金雄（Lien Chin Hung）死於此。

楊燕於1953年12月3日出生於中國廣東省中山市，在一個小農莊里。多年來，她飼養家禽，種植蔬菜，並最終在20多歲時成為一位護士。

1976年，她遇到了已故的丈夫郭廷藹，並於不久後結婚。他們的長子大衛（David）於1978年出生，並於1979年移民到加拿大。亞倫（Allen）於1982年出生，肯尼特（Kennett）於1987年出生。她轉職成為一名裁縫，付出了巨大和艱辛的努力，於1983年購買了他們的第一所房屋。

郭練楊燕將永遠存在於我們的心中和回憶中。我們非常想念她。她的安息禮將在COVID後的某個日期舉行。
