Rino Candido Ricci

19 – 09 – 1961 - 27 – 06 – 2022

It is with deepest sorrow and broken hearts, that we announce the sudden passing of Rino Ricci on Monday, June 27, 2022, in Port Moody, BC, at the age of 60. Rino, was born in Vancouver, BC on September 19, 1961.

He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Mirella and cherished daughters, Isabella and Claudia. Rino was predeceased by his father, Francesco and mother, Olga, father-in-law, Aurelio, mother-in-law, Marietta, brother-in-law, Massimo, and many relatives in Italy, Vancouver, and Toronto.

Rino had many talents. At a very young age, he knew he wanted to be a cabinet maker just like his father. He got his ticket at BCIT and continued his love and passion for carpentry. Rino had many hobbies, which included playing the drums with his band(s) and jamming in his home. He loved Music … Beatles and Pink Floyd being his all-time favourites. He had a strong knowledge for trivia in music, movies, history and space. Rino loved hockey. He was a true Vancouver Canuck Fan. He played in hockey teams at a very young age and continued playing hockey as an adult.

Rino always had a great memory of his childhood. He was a wonderful story teller and loved a good joke. He always had an open mind for everything and strong faith. One of his strongest traits was that he always saw the good in people. He was caring, loving, calm, and down to earth. Most importantly, Rino was a “family man”

Rino was a hard worker, always to provide for his family. To sum it up Family was everything to Rino.

His family has lost their “rock” and “anchor” and will be missed so much.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6 from 6:30 -8:00 p.m. at Bell Funeral Chapel 4276 Hasting St., Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 555 Slocan St. Vancouver, BC
