It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, zio and friend, Michele De Mare.Michele was born in Albi, Catanzaro, Italy to Giuseppe and Antonietta. He was predeceased by his parents. He will be especially missed by his siblings, brother-in-laws and sister-in-law - Paola (John), Valentina (Blair), Laura and Sal (Debbie). He will also be missed by his nephew Danny, niece Cara and his many cousins here in BC, Italy and an uncle and cousins in Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 28 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Parish, 1450 Delta Avenue, Burnaby, BC. Entombment will follow at the Grand Mausoleum in Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michele's memory can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
Michele was a quiet, kind and gentle person who was always ready to help his family at any time. We love you and will greatly miss you.
