I have fond memories of our chats and shinanigans. " Mo, Mo, Mo, Mo, Mo" 'the clerks in the office would call you :-)  Your eyes would light up when you talked about your grandkids and you'd share photos of them with us.  So proud.  So happy :-)  Fun loving and a real joy to work with.

On behalf of UBC and the electrical shop at Building Operations, we'd like to again express our deepest condolences to the Infanti family. Maurizzio (Mo) was a colleague for 20+ years. He spent the first chunk of his time there working on the campus street lighting with his partners and friends Robin and Ray. He spent the next portion of time as Head (foreman) of electrical maintenance. It is a very important position and he took pride in that role. Providing electrical maintenance services to the campus is a crucial and difficult task. With over 200 buildings and thousands of students, faculty, staff and researchers relying on electrical support, it was not an easy job.
Probably most peoples fondest memories of Mo would be at lunch and break times playing cards. They played everyday for years- hearts at lunch and not sure about the other one at afternoon coffee but it involved "deceit". He had a great, witty sense of humour and was really good at "razzing" his friends. His comments and laughter could be heard from far away. If I was asked who won most of the time, I would say Mo, just because I heard him so happy all the time.

Mo was my boss for a few years when UBC took me on as an apprentice. He made sure everyone treated me well and always watched out for me, made sure I was doing more than mundane tasks. He was quite vocal on some issues and always had a joke to crack when under less than ideal circumstances were burning people out. I will miss him he made work so fun.

I think back upon the many memories that came from daily routines to the scheduled shutdowns and the numerous after hour emergencies that we tackled together over the years. Mo's quick wit and and humour will be missed. 

My condolences and prayers to the Infanti family during this time and for a life taken too soon.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of a wonderful man who had a big heart.  Mo was a great guy who cared immensely about the work and ensuring it was done correctly and safely for the people he supervised. I was always impressed by how he treated everyone with the same respect and a positive attitude. He will be missed very much...

Mo, Ray, and I started at UBC at the same time Sept 14 1998. Moe and I worked on the Bucket truck together for a couple of years. I was the guy in the bucket and Mo was the groundman. 

On Fridays Mo would go up in the bucket to give me a break and I was the groundman. We had many laughs and good times together and some away from work playing golf and going for a beer. 

Mo became my Boss and the working relationship had its moments, but we never let the little things bother our friendship. We got things off our chests and moved on. 

Gone to soon, going to miss my phone calls to you Mo. RIP my friend.

Years ago, Mo's vanpool had an accident. We sent the riders, including Mo, get well cards and gift baskets. Mo posted the card on the bulletin board by his desk. He said he liked the card and felt I meant every word on it. I was touched by that gesture. It's not often when one shows an appreciation for caring.
Here's a photo of Mo which I've managed to get in one of our holiday events. He said to me it's the only photo where I capture him with his mouth opened! :)
To the Infanti, our deepest and sincerest condolonces. May the choirs of angels come to greet him and may they lead him to paradise.

It was a pleasure working with you Mo and learning new things from you on the many projects our two crews worked on back in the days. You will be missed Mo! RIP my Union brother.

It's too soon and sad to see you go.  Sending condolences and prayers to your family.

I enjoyed our time working together, especially when Robin, Ray and others of similar vintage were around to give eachother a hard-time.

You remained calm and unfazed during some difficult times, and challenged myself and others to be better Union brothers.  Thank you for that, and RIP.

My deepest condolences to the Infanti family for your loss.  I always enjoyed seeing Mo at work and am really saddened by his passing.  He was larger than life and made us all smile.  We're going to miss him.

As a co-worker at UBC, I always remember Maurizzio as a kind, polite and friendly man. It is a very sad loss for our division. All my condolences to his family.
