

Auntie Lisa, it’s an honour to have known such a kind and selfless soul. She cared so much for everyone around her and had a presence that lit up any room. Whenever she came to visit from Calgary she would bring sour plums from Crystal Mall because I mentioned I liked them once, and whenever she cooked she would make a veggie, seafood and meat version of the dish to accommodate all my families dietary restrictions. Thank you for teaching me about Chinese traditions that otherwise would have been lost and for sharing so many laughs over the dinner table. Rest easy. 

Lisa and I used to work for the same team. She was very kind, hard working,  always willing to help others, and yes, could be a bit mischievous sometimes.  Rest in peace. We will miss you greatly.

I miss you so much! Can’t believe we won’t be attending our retirement seminar together! You left us too early. 

I’m so glad you transferred to Vancouver and I got to know you and work with you. I would always find you diligently working at your desk and you would need to be persuaded to take a break and go for a walk. I look back fondly of our times together- the short/long  walks, the ‘surprise’ lunch we organized for our team leader, the Christmas meals we shared...

You’re a special lady!

My Dearest "Sis" Lisa, we worked together in Calgary.  Is was easy to tell when Lisa was happy, because her eyes would light up and sparkle! She was funny and had a great sense of humour, but she would listen to my troubles and be there as a solid support. She never judged people, that was not her way. We both loved bargain shopping and we would always be on the look out for a great deal! She made the best radish cake, with dried shrimp and sausage.  I miss our long telephone chats, especially about the kids. I wish we could have been together more often, we always talked about travelling together, and in retirement we would open a beauty salon, Sadly this was not our path my friend.  May God give you Peace and rest from every pain and and sorrow my dear Lisa! I will never forget you, but we will meet again, that I know, until then, with all my Love Constance 

I’m still unable to process the loss I feel as I can’t imagine not seeing auntie Lisa’s smile whenever we saw her. I grew up always looking forward to her visits or going to Vancouver to spend the summer with her.  I fondly remember her curling my hair and bringing me to Expo 86, PNE, and various yummy Asian  restaurants.  I always cried when I’d go back to Kamloops cause I missed her. She was bubbly, warm, and always affectionate. When I got older I would go visit her, uncle Mo, and Jonathan in Calgary. We would go to the stampede, sightsee and go shopping.  She was such a wonderful loving aunt and I will miss her tremendously. She was a strong, hardworking, and loving person who I know is in good company with my mom in heaven.  I will always have her in my heart. 

Thinking of all the times we went for a walk and grabbed a Starbucks while talking about last weekend’s events or anticipating next weekend’s plans. Enjoyed all those afternoons condo shopping too. Will never forget Lisa’s laugh, enthusiasm, and love for her family.

I had the pleasure of working with her for many years, before the move to BC. She trained me in collections, then years later when she came to Refund Integrity and I got to teach her. There was always such joy when talking about her family, especially, you Jonathan.

I had the pleasure of knowing Lisa as we were "work neighbours" in Calgary. What a tragedy to lose such a wonderful person. My deepest condolences to her family. Jonathan your mother spoke of you often very lovingly and with great pride. I was sad when she moved to BC but so glad that she was close to her family in the end.  In the words of Billy Joel "Only the good die young".  Lisa will be missed by all who had the luck to have known her.

I have lovely childhood memories of hanging out with Lisa at Hoy's and AB's Groceries.  She ALWAYS put family first.  Lisa was a very positive, caring and hard working individual with an infectious smile and laugh.  She is dearly missed.  My sincere condolences to the family - we are all blessed to have had Lisa a part of our life.  Take good comfort in those special memories.  

Auntie Lisa was the sweetest and nicest person. I remember she would always take me out shopping or go on fun adventures when I was a kid. In addition she would be the one to invite the family for dim sum and host dinner parties. Lisa was extremly caring, she would always make sure I took food home for lunch tomorrow. 
She had a big heart for everyone. We will miss you ❤

Lisa was such a beautiful  person! She was always  smiling, laughing and caring to others.
I'll always remember when Lisa arrived in Canada with her mother and brothers. She was so eager to learn about and embrace her new home. We were teaching them how to use a knife and fork and Lisa just laughed and laughed as she tried. 
Such a beautiful  and contagious laugh! I  will always remember  that about her!

May the happy memories of Lisa, a daughter,sister, wife, mother and aunt sustain you through this time. No words could describe how sad I was when I heard the bad news.  I remember clearly the day Lisa  joined my team;  a young, energetic, cheerful person with a great caring personality. Lisa was a quick learner and adapted so well to her new team environment, she was well liked by all team members the day she joined the team.  I was so fortunate to have her on my team as she was such a dedicated hard worker.  I remember the times we shared memories of Hong Kong, our childhood hometown and the challenging moments being a new immigrant in our new home.  I was so happy for her when she  told me she was moving to BC to be closer to her elderly mother and families, as she cared about her family so much!

Lisa, I will always remember and miss you.  My deepest condolences to Wing, Jonathan and the family.  May God give you all strength during this difficult time.

Auntie Lisa was one of the strongest and funniest people in my life. She always showed that she cared for us even through the little things. Just a couple months ago she had made us turnip cakes, and she used separate ingredients for each of us, just the way we like it. I’m so glad that we got to see her more often when she moved to Burnaby, and I’ll never forget her teaching us the meaning of different Chinese foods, her telling us that the mushrooms could use more cornstarch, and of course her sense of humour! She was the person to call when I was doing my family heritage project in grade ten because she knew so much about the family. I know Auntie Lisa’s done so much to get us here and we will miss her lots!!

Lisa, we miss you and feel like there is a huge hole in our family with you gone. You were always a wonderful, intelligent, caring person who was ready to find something funny to laugh at. I will always hold dear our vacations in Calgary when we packed up the van, drove the Coquihalla and got to stay with you and Wing. Your warm smile always greeted us after the long drive, and you opened up your home. You always took good care of people. Rest in peace now Lisa. We love you. 💕

My younger sister Lisa always have a special spot in my heart. Throughout our childhood --we played together, we fought sometimes and we had made the happiest memories  as we were growing up. Over the years, tears and smiles were part of our journey.

I am heartbroken at the passing of Lisa.  My deepest condolences and sympathies to you all.  Lisa was one of the kindest, caring and most generous person I have ever known. Lisa was the best aunt one could ever ask for!  She was so kind and thoughtful. I will always remember how much she helped me when I moved to Vancouver to attend university.  She prepared home cooked meals for me on the weekends so I could take a break from the cafeteria meals at the dorm. She would drive me around to where I needed to go since I didn't have a car. She was instrumental in helping me transition to university/city life when I moved to Vancouver.  I will never forget what she did for me, and what she did for our family.  We love and miss you, Lisa, and you will always have a special place in our hearts.
