Koon-Yiu Yan

It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of Koon-Yiu Yan on November 13th, 2022. He was 97. KY was born in Hong Kong on November 12th, 1925. He moved to Okinawa, Japan at the age of 28.

In 1962, at the age of 37, he married his beautiful wife Mimi Feng. She was the love of his life and they just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last year. They loved to dance and travel. He moved to Vancouver in 1976 and became a Canadian citizen in 1979.

KY is also survived by his son, Steven and his wife Dana, as well as his two grandchildren Paris and Weston.
