Kaoru Matsui passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents, his four brothers, and his wife Shizuko. He is lovingly survived by his son Wayne (Janet), two grandsons Jordan and Justin (Anne), two sisters Amy Yamamoto and Sumi Nishiguchi, and several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers and koden donations may be made in memoriam to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC, #200 – 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V2. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC.
