Born in Graz, Austria on May 16, 1938. Josef is survived by his wife Mila, his children May (Lawrence and Cole), Alex, and Kristina; and his siblings Hansi, (Margit), and Sigrid. He is predeceased by his brother Gunther.
He was a kind, loving man who was beloved in his community. He was seen by all in the neighbourhood reading a book in front of his house. He had a sharp sense of humour and knew how to make people laugh. He will be sorely missed.
A funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Church on Tuesday, November 20th, 2018. A viewing will be held on Monday, November 19th, 2018 at 6pm at St. Andrew's Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Cancer Research Foundation.
