It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hee Hyun Paik, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on December 17, 2024. She was 69 years old.
Hee Hyun was a woman of great warmth and kindness. She had an unparalleled ability to make those around her feel seen and cherished, often offering the most heartfelt compliments and encouragement. Her unwavering faith in God was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every joy and challenge. She was a gentle and loving presence, whose spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Hee Hyun is survived by her daughter Christine, son-in-law Hee Jo, and her two cherished granddaughters Kayla and Cynthia. She is also survived by her dear sister Ina.
Her memory will forever be a blessing to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The New View Society in Hee Hyun’s memory.
A funeral service for Hee Hyun will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at All Saints R.C. Parish, 821 Fairfax St, Coquitlam, BC V3J 5K7.
