It’s so hard to write something when we were so close. I will always cherish my time with Grace when we would chat on the phone while having a glass of wine and talking about Charlie. I will always cherish when she came to Toronto and we went out for drinks and eats at two popular places, also I will cherish when she sent me care packages when I needed it. She’s gone way too soon. I love you with all my heart Grace

It's heartbreaking to come to terms with the fact that my beloved Auntie Grace Yi Yi is no longer with us. The news has hit me hard, and I can't seem to shake off the feeling of emptiness that comes with the realisation that I'll never see her again.

Every summer, I looked forward to my visits to Vancouver, where I would spend quality time with my Auntie Grace, who was such an exceptional person. She had this enchanting quality about her that made her shine like a star, and her effervescent personality was infectious to everyone she met. Her absence has left a void in our lives that can never be filled.

I will always cherish the memories we created together, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had her in my life. But the thought of not being able to see her again, share stories and laughs with her, is painful beyond words.

Auntie Grace, you will forever remain in my heart. May you rest in peace, knowing how much you were loved and how deeply you will be missed.


As I reflect on the life of Auntie Grace, my heart swells with gratitude for the time I had with her. My heart is so heavy with sadness at the sudden loss of such an amazing person but I am also grateful for the opportunity to celebrate her life at the service.
Auntie Grace, you will be dearly missed, but your spirit and legacy will live on in me & the hearts of all those who were blessed to know you. Rest easy 🤍

We are deeply saddened to hear of Grace's sudden passing. We miss her so very dearly, and remember fondly her quick-wit and wisdom. She will always be our cool, beautiful, intelligent, and irreplaceable cousin Grace.
