Anne Passed away suddenly on March 1, 2022. Anne was born and raised in the Washington DC area to Paul T. Maddox and Dolores A. Stephens. She attended Catholic School in her early Grades, and then graduated from Surrattsville High School in Clinton Maryland in 1970.
She Worked in Washington DC after graduation, and later moved to out west, where she settled in southern California area the last 40 years. She worked in the medical field up until the time of her death and was also very active as an Election Official.
Anne was a proud Washingtonian, and loved to watch the 4th of July Fireworks on the mall televised every year. She was a Die-hard Redskins fan. Her last Facebook post was: Charley Taylor #42 R.I.P what a great team player!) She would be so excited when she could watch a game on the west coast.
Anne was a true animal Lover. She had many pets throughout the years, and especially loved her Pekinese dog Taffy, and later little Joey. She fed a stray cat she named Lisa and would drive to where she use to live to feed her every day. She was currently a mommy to her Cat Susie, which she called Suzanne Dolores when she was in trouble. She loved to feed the birds, grow plants and vegetables. She loved the ocean and sunshine.
Anne was a big fan talk Radio, and met many friends. She enjoyed Chinese Food, seafood, movies, some reality TV and was loved to read from an early age. She kept in touch when she could, but liked her privacy. She lived the way she wanted, was independent, and had a memory like an elephant. She loved talking about the good times, and remembering funny stories. She loved a good laugh and will be missed by many.
Anne was presided in death by her Late father Paul T. Maddox and mother Dolores A, Morgan, Stepfather Thomas M. Morgan, infant brother Christopher Maddox, brother Patrick Maddox, sister Nancy King Katzberg (Maddox) a stepbrother Howard Morgan, and a stepsister Sharon Morgan Thorton.
Anne leaves behind her Brother Paul Thomas Maddox, and her Sister Mary Ellen Brown (Maddox) and her husband William Chip Brown, Her step sisters Susan Morgan and Patricia Harlow, Her nieces and nephews and great Nieces and nephews. Her dear friend and coworker Maria Obrien, and husband Michael.
