Sharon Anita Green was born on August 14, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter to Veronica & John Novak. As a young girl, she had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses. A graduate of St. Nicholas Grammar School and Hubbard High School, Sharon excelled in reading at advanced levels. Raised Catholic, Sharon's first Holy Communion was in May of 1960 and she reached her Confirmation three years later in 1963, the same year Sharon's parents adopted her younger brother John.
After her high school graduation in 1969, Sharon quickly entered school to become a beautician where she began a successful career. Always one to help others, Sharon also volunteered at the local Chicago hospital as a candy striper and loved helping the elderly.
It wasn't long after her graduation from high school and beautician school when Sharon met the man she would marry, James Green, in 1971. From that point, Sharon became a dedicated wife and mother to her four children: James, Kimberly, Shawna and Kevin. While continuing to raise her children and pursing her career, Sharon's passion for dogs quickly became a thriving business. What began as a hobby, Sharon found that breeding dogs was not only enjoyable but a career which allowed her to meet a variety of people throughout the world.
Sharon's life journey has taken her from Chicago, Illinois, to California and Arizona. In addition to watching her children grow, she was thrilled to also help raise her two grandchildren: Tifanie and Jason Green.
After a courageous ten year battle with cancer, a mother, grandmother, and a wondeful sister was taken to heaven. Sharon will forever be in the hearts of those she loved.
