Earnest Paul Gregg

Earnest (Ernie) Gregg, age 58, of Bulls Gap, passed away on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at Laughlin Hospital, after a two year battle with cancer. He was a loving dad, son and brother. He was saved September 27, 2009 and was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his dad, Charlie Gregg, step-dad, Bill Holder, two brothers, Charles and Claude Gregg and an infant sister.

He is survived by his son, Billy Scott Gregg of Mosheim; mother, Dorotha Gregg Holder of Bulls Gap; brother, Robert Gregg of Mohawk; sister and brother in law, Sis and Tommy Gulley of Morristown; step-brother, Mikey Holder; uncles, Edward (Melba) Knight, Buford (Annabell) Knight of Bulls Gap; aunt, Joyce (Horace) Mills of Rock Hill, SC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Gregg will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bulls Gap Funeral Home. The Rev. Carroll Jarnigan will officiate. Interment will follow at the Philippi Cemetery. The family of Mr. Gregg will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Bulls Gap Funeral Home.

The family would like to say a very special “Thank You” to C&C Millwright and its employee’s and his friends and neighbors for your kindness and support that you gave Ernie during his sickness. Ernie will be missed by all who knew him.
