Robert Alden Robinson Sr.

Longtime Tristate resident Robert Alden Robinson Sr, 80 passed away at his home in Laughlin, Nevada on March 23, 2024. A visitation is planned for Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 9 am followed by a funeral service at 10 am at the Calvary Church of Needles, 1800 J. Street, Needles, CA 92363. Services will be officiated by Pastor Craig Freitag and pallbearers will include his family and employees of Robinson Electric, Inc. Burial will follow the funeral services at Needles Riverview Cemetery. A reception will be held back at the Calvary Church Fellowship Hall after the burial.

Robert, affectionately known by many as “Bear”, was born to Calvin and Grace Robinson on April 3, 1943 in Needles, CA. He graduated from Needles High School. He married Mari Rogge on February 4, 1978 and they lived in Needles another 10 years. Then they moved to Laughlin, NV to establish the 3rd portion of Robinson Electric, Inc. and remained there 30 years until the angels gathered him and took him home to Heaven.

Bear worked tirelessly for decades establishing and growing Robinson Electric, Inc. In his pastime though, he loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, golfing and family gatherings.

Bear is survived by his loving wife, Mari Robinson; son, Bobby A. Robinson(Dana) and their children, Travis Robinson, Kelsi Robinson and Hannah Robinson; son, Ross M. Robinson(Michael); daughter, Roxanne E. Burroughs(Scott) and their children, Race Andrade and Marley Burroughs; daughter, Kimberly A. Pearson(Eddy) and their children Rick Pearson(Ali) and Emily Pearson; daughter, Sherry L. Barker(Sid) and their children Ashley Ingram(Daniel) and Chad Barker(Heidi); son, Mark Rogge(Sabrina) and their children Felicia Rogge and Sara Rogge. Bear is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, Brighton Ingram, Braelyn Ingram and Jacob Barker; and a host of friends, acquaintances and customers. He will greatly missed but always loved and remembered.
