Nancy Kathleen Campbell Weiman, age 53, has gone to her heavenly home after a 12 year battle with cancer.
Nancy was born to Harvey B. Campbell and Charlene (Schram) Campbell on April 17, 1963 at Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas. She lived her early life in Houston, Texas, moving to Bryan in her teenage years and graduating from Bryan High School in 1981.
Nancy was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Bryan, Texas for the past 34 ½ years where customers and fellow employees alike enjoyed her positive attitude. She was one year away from retirement.
Nancy had a loving heart, always wanting to help others, even through her illnesses. She had a passion for cooking and baking, as any family member can contest. Entertaining and hosting family and friends for holidays and special occasions brought her great joy. She loved gardening and canning as well. She enjoyed going on cruises and traveling. She especially loved her nieces and nephews and always stocked treats for the kiddo’s visits. She was well loved.
Nancy was confirmed in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas and later became a member of Zion Church of Kurten. She had a strong faith and was called to be a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey B. and Charlene (Schram) Campbell and her in-laws, Travis and Margie Weiman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Ron Weiman, of Kurten. She is also survived by her aunts, Lillian Holubec and Leona Schram of Bryan, and Cora Younger and husband, Jimmie, of Kurten and numerous extended family members who loved her well.
