Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 20 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with Rev. Sam Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Reliance Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lee was born September 14, 1931 in Ebenezer, Louisiana the daughter of Adam and Bertie (Faulk) Hoffpauir. She was a bookkeeper for Doyle Reed Accounting Firm for many years. Lee was active member of North Bryan New Birth Baptist Church for the past few years. She was a people person; she enjoyed conversations with friends and family, and loved to send out greeting or birthday cards.

Lee is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis Russell; son Robert Russell; and a brother, Edward Lee Hoffpauir.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Charles McKinney of Selma; son and daughter in-law, Dana and Debra Russell of Bryan; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Buck Halley of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Brentleigh Sean Russell and wife Amanda, Dawn Michelle McKinney, Charles Blair McKinney and wife Pricilla, and Dwayne Russell; great-grandchildren, Raeghan and Ryleigh Russell, David Russell, Coltin Russell, Isabel McKinney and Grayson McKinney.
