Jerry Lynn Lloyd passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, in his home in Bryan, Texas. Jerry was born on July 5, 1964, in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and was the second oldest son of William Leroy Lloyd and JoAnn Marie Lloyd.
Jerry was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. After graduating with honors in 1982 from Belton High School in Belton, Texas, Jerry attended Texas A&M University, where he studied electrical engineering. Thereafter, he met his wife, Lisa Ann Adams, who he married on April 23, 1994, in Bryan. Jerry was a loyal and active community resident of Bryan, where he, along with his wife, raised their two daughters and son. He was employed at Scott and White and then Dailey Electric as an electrical engineer until he co-founded his electrical service company, CC Electric, in 2016. His company was thriving, and he looked forward to working with his business partners to help grow their company in the upcoming years.
Jerry was a jokester and made it his mission to bring humor into the lives of the people he met and loved. He had a big, jovial personality, and all who knew him admired his quick wit and good nature. He was an avid fisherman and loved to cook, regularly entering into local cooking competitions. He loved computers, and his favorite pastime was playing video games with his children. With all his varied interests and multiple talents, his central focus was on his family, and he would sacrifice anything for his wife and children.
Jerry is predeceased by his parents William Leroy Lloyd and JoAnn Marie Lloyd. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lisa Ann Lloyd, daughter Gabrielle Mercedes Lloyd, daughter Isabella Rose Lloyd, and son Christian Dane Lloyd. He leaves behind two brothers, Gregory Bryan Lloyd and Brent Lee Lloyd, along with many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with a reception following the service. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Saturday. The family requests that all guests attending to please wear a mask.
