Dorothy Ann Burk Munday

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 7 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dorothy was born September 18, 1938 in Grimes County the daughter of Talmage and Esther (Ashbranner) Burk. She worked at GTE until her retirement, and then with the Brazos Valley Council of Governments. Dorothy was a member of Central Church of Christ in Bryan.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Allen Munday, Jr; and a sister, Betty Isbell.

She is survived by her son, Allen Munday; daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and Eric Hunter, Donna Kay and Carlos Coleman; grandsons, Jack Leonard, Joshua Leonard and wife Jenn, Jordan Leonard and Chase Coleman; great-granddaughter, Cameron Leonard; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Naomi and Jim Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
