Charles Evan Benbow

Funeral service will be held Monday, January 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Smetana Cemetery.

Charles Evan was born October 5, 1966 in Bryan the son of Charles W. and Diane (Merka) Benbow. He graduated from Bryan High School in 1985. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in College Station and Brazos de Dios Harley Owners Group. He also honored our veterans by riding with the Patriot Guard Riders. Charles Evan was blessed with an extraordinary personality intending to see the lighter side of life. He enjoyed life and never met a stranger…always leaving them with a smile and always saw the good side of life.

Charles Evan is preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Heather Benbow.

He is survived by his special love, Debra Peikert; parents, Charles and Diane Benbow; daughters, Caraline Benbow and Meghann Gerzik.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kip Kissinger, Charles Stipes, Charles Ribardo, Bill Allen, Randy Keels, Mark Robertson, and Gavin McLeod.
