Tamira was born November 26, 1960 in Bamberg, Germany and was adopted by Trudy Hazel White Taylor and Lewis Ancil Taylor during his tour in Germany. After coming to the States, she was enrolled in school and graduated from Oglethorpe Christian Academy in 1980, then married Marlon Randolph Brown of Brunswick on April 16, 1984. She was employed by Goodwill Industries at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, her father and her mother.
She is survived by a brother, Terry Lewis Taylor of Brunswick; one aunt, Jewel Pope of Pensacola, FL; an uncle, Bill Grimes of Columbus, GA and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Dawson officiating. Active pallbearers will be James Blocker, Stephen Blocker, Mark Boatright, Darell Coleman, Rocky King and Jim Moody. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Grubb, Dr. Jones, Dr. Mostovych, employees of Goodwill and the Golden Isles Church of God. Interment will follow at Palmetto Cemetery.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
