Born September 17, 1982 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Richard A. Kristophel and Sharon C. Staunton, he was a graduate of Windsor Forest High School Class of 2000 in Savannah, Georgia. He was the owner of Mike Kristophel Lawn Care, and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He had been a resident of McIntosh County for the past 18 years.
Survivors include his two daughters, Kaylee Mae Kristophel and Emma Lou Kristophel both of Townsend, his parents, Richard A. Kristophel of Statesboro and Sharon C. Staunton of Lima, OH, a sister, Chelsea Lynn Marks of Pittsburgh, PA, a grandmother, Donna Matzak of Pittsburgh, PA, his fiancée, Bobbiejean Davison of Townsend, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and three nephews.
