John Gary Williams

John Gary Williams, 56, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Southeast Georgia Health Systems. Born on August 28, 1967 in Warner Robins, Georgia, John went on to attend Brunswick High School. In his youth, he enjoyed skating at Skateland 17, where so many loved watching him dancing in the rink. He won many skating competitions throughout the years.

In his later years, John spent much of his free time outdoors, taking pleasure in going out in his boat, fishing, and camping. He made many friends during his time as a baseball coach and won several tournaments with his travel baseball teams. Most recently, he was an exceptional pool player, having been a part of APA and NAPA pool leagues. John’s passion for sports was no secret - he was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.

John worked for Woodrow Sapp Well Drilling for 24 years and came to know and love his bosses and co-workers as family.

He is survived by three sons, Tylor Williams, Christopher Williams, and Brandon Williams; as well as his mother, father, and sister, who will not be named per their request.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
