Jody Wayne Craft was born on January 8, 1972 in Springhill, LA, and passed away on September 29, 2024 in St. Simons Island, GA. Jody lived many lives in one; at different times he was a member of the Air Force, a beloved church pastor, and a brilliant businessman and inspirational leader. He was also a loving and devoted father to his daughter.
Jody was known for his big personality and even bigger heart. A captivating storyteller, his sense of humor could brighten anyone's day and help others come out of their shells.
Jody approached life with immense creativity. A talented cook, he had a knack for creating masterful dishes in the kitchen, which he loved sharing with others. Despite being colorblind, he had fantastic taste and great fashion sense. His love for music was evident between his fondness of concerts and the way he could frequently be found singing or playing guitar, sharing joy through melodies.
Jody was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Jean Craft, and his wife, Kimberly Craft. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Devin Craft; his brothers, David Craft and wife Connie, and Christopher Craft; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity that will be cherished by all who knew him.
