Grace Bluestein Butler

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at Palmetto Cemetery, with Mark Linton and Bill Ligon officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Scott Clay,Allison Wells, Judd Wilder, Justin Wilder, Jace Wilder, "Little" Judd Wilder, James Holcomb, Perry Conger, Tommy Conger and Sammy LaRoche.

Born July 29, 1928, in Augusta, to the late Roscoe Holloway and Mary C. Walker, she was a graduate of the Tift County High School Class of 1946 and a graduate of ABAC as well.

She had been a resident of Glynn County for the past 76 years and was a member of Christian Renewal Church of Brunswick. She was employed as a secretary for Grabber Manufacturing Co. and as well as WMOG and WGIG radio stations. Mrs. Butler enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ed Butler of Brunswick; two children, Marcia Redden and husband, Jim, and Benjy Bluestein and wife, Jane, all of Brunswick; three grandchildren, Judd Wilder, Sarah Holcomb and Abbey Bluestein; and five great-grandchildren, Judd Wilder, Jace Wilder and Justin Wilder, Kenleigh Holcomb and Grayson Holcomb, and several nieces and nephews.
