Eleanor Strickland Gregory, 79, of Brunswick, departed this life April 20, 2022 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born September 13, 1942 in Brunswick, Georgia to the late J.W. and Eva Y. Strickland, she was raised in Jesup and was Graduate of Wayne County High School Class of 1960. She then received her Lab Tech training at Dell School of Medical Technology in Ashville, NC in 1961. She spent her 43 year career as a Medical Technologist at SGHS Brunswick Campus. It was her desire after retirement to be remembered as someone who gave more than they received. Ms. Gregory enjoyed spending her leisure time playing Bridge. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and served in the St. Mary’s Guild.
She is survived by her son, Rodger D. Gregory and wife Laura of Brunswick, a granddaughter Megan Gregory Finerfrock and husband Jacob of Odum, and three great grandchildren, Aubery, Weylin, and Mara.
