Carol Ann Lawrence

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at Morgan’s Chapel United Methodist Church with the Reverends Larry Stricklin and Allyson Lawrence officiating. Visitation with the family will also be at the church at 1 pm prior to the Memorial service.

Born March 31, 1945 in Audubon, New Jersey to the late Carl Edward and Anna H. Johnson, she had been a resident of McIntosh County for the past 25 years. Mrs. Lawrence was the owner and operator of A Plus Office Services. She was a member of Morgan’s Chapel United Methodist Church, and was a sincere Christian who dearly loved her church and the church community. She enjoyed crafts, particularly needlework, and loved working in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Kevin Lawrence.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gary Lawrence of Townsend, a son, Dr. Mark Lawrence and wife Katja of Germany, a daughter in law, Rev. Allyson Lawrence of Fayetteville, Georgia, and four grandchildren, Sophie and Tom, and Jadyn and Kaitlyn, and a sister, Diane Mizenis of Commerce, GA.
