Barbara Cripps Roach

Mrs. Roach was a native of Adams, MA and was raised in Ellaville, Georgia. She had been a resident of Brunswick since 1953. She was a graduate of Ellaville High School and attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Roach was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Altar Guild.

Mrs. Roach enjoyed reading and spending quality time with her family.

Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Roach, Sr., her parents, George and Annie Cripps, a great-grandson Dixon Monroe Rae and a niece, Carol Dillinger.

Survivors are her son, William M. Roach, Jr.(Linda) of McDonough, Ga., a daughter, Cindy R. Harrell (Robert) of Brunswick, three grandchildren, Andrew Moseley (Joanne), Jennifer Rae (Michael) and Stephannie Harrell, one great grandson, Mason Spencer Rae, a nephew, Richard Fuller (Pat) and a niece, Eve Forster(Tom).

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, January 16, 2016, in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim McIlrath and Rev. Wright Culpepper officiating. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be: Denny Silva, Johnny Jones, Jimmy Stevens, Wayne Thompson, James Walker and Steve Pittman. Honorary pall bearers will be member of the Eastern Star, Paul Joseph.

The family request in lieu of flowers contributions to the donor's choice. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016, in the Funeral Home.
