Veronica is survived by her husband: Carlos Lopez Jr., her daughters: Michelle Lopez and Cynthia White, her Siblings: Humphrey Portier, Onezip Portier Jr, Juan Portier, Christina Hernandez (Fred), Lucy Garcia (Javier), Carol Portier, Terry Tamayo (Ismael), Arthur Portier (Victoria) and Roy Portier, her granddaughter: Alexandria Lara.

A visitation for Veronica will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista & Buena Vista Burial Park, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A Mass will occur Monday, May 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1218 E Jefferson, Brownsville, Texas 78520. A burial will occur Monday, May 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
